The site sets one cookie, and only to remember your answer to the cookie notice.
What the site keeps in your browser
- nexow-cookie, a cookie: your answer to the cookie notice, yes or no, so the notice does not come back. It lasts one year.
- nexow-shade, in local storage: the brightness you pick with the slider in the header. It is saved only when you move the slider, and stays until you clear it.
- nexow-visit, in session storage: a mark that the visit counter in the footer has already counted this tab. It is gone when you close the tab.
None of them identifies you, and we use them for nothing else.
What the site does not use
No analytics, no advertising, no social media buttons, and no cookies from other sites.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare, which serves the site, can set a security cookie of its own, such as __cf_bm, when it needs to tell people from bots. Its list of cookies explains each one.
Changing your mind
Clear the cookies and site data for nexow.studio in your browser settings. The notice comes back on your next visit, and the brightness follows your system again.
